Multi-talented solo artist, Dane Riley, has released a new and exciting album titled "The Return Of Funk." Not only does Riley perform on this album, but he also produced, arranged, and composed the entire album. The hours of production time have really paid off with well-balanced vocals and instrumentations. Hints of the musical styles of Prince can be heard on such tracks as "What's My Name?" and "I Came To Party." Riley's lead vocals on the title track "The Return Of Funk" really shine, but he does a great job with the background harmonies as well. Groove to the steady beats of the drums and subtle strings while listening to the slow and moving R&B tune "Meant 2 Be."
